“The room is spacious, very elegant, and modern, equipped with all the necessary comforts. It is strategically located in the city center and is an excellent choice for exploring Florence.
“The location is excellent—5–10 minutes on foot from the train station, 5 minutes from the Duomo, and 35 minutes from Piazzale Michelangelo! The apartment is very spacious, spotless, and tidy! The staff gave us a detailed introduction to every detail of the room and recommended restaurants and attractions in Florence! It’s fantastic and definitely worth visiting many times!
“I really enjoyed it. The place is beautiful, well-located, and has all the necessary comforts for a great stay. It is also very clean and private. The host was very attentive when we arrived, provided all the necessary information, and was very kind.
“Very cosy place close to everything in Firenze. We enjoyed the stay.
“We really enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb. The location was convenient, being very close to the train station but not too far from many of the major tourist sites of Florence, plus the amazing central market. The street it was on was very quiet, and we had no noise issues at all. The place was nicer in real life than it even looks in the pictures – very spacious, extraordinarily high ceilings, clean, and comfortable. It was also well-equipped. The hot water for the shower required a little bit of manipulation to stay hot. It was very nice to have a washer/dryer. The dryer is one of those evaporative types, so it takes awhile to dry – be aware. There was ample storage for all of our stuff. We were able to completely unpack for a week. The host company was very responsive, and the person who greeted us to orient us to the unit and give us our keys was outstanding - helpful and full of suggestions on places to see in Florence that we might not have otherwise come across. There was a grocery store around the corner, and coffee shops and restaurants galore in the area. There were also several bus stops nearby for when we wanted a break from all of the walking. However, the buses are not always reliable, so always have a back-up plan! Bus tickets are available at local tobacco shops.
“Apartamento bien situado y limpio. Muy cómoda la cama y el cuarto de baño. La cocina con todo lo necesario. A la llegada Diana nos dio muchas recomendaciones locales.

Santa Maria NovellaWhen Differences and Diversity are Charming

A
strategic area for arrivals and departures is the Santa Maria Novella
railway station, a unique match between old churches, noble palaces
and common buildings. Antiques, interior designers and luxury hotels
in Borgo Ognissanti stand next to historical fried food shops and
African spices from ethnic groceries in Via Palazzuolo.
The
Old Pharmacy
On Via della Scala lies a place that seems to come
from out of time. Europe’s oldest perfumery developed from the
Black Friars and their skills in herbalism dating back from before
the fourteenth century. A visit to this historical and monumental
shop is absolutely a must. You do not need to buy, but you will be
conquered by the square footage, the high ceilings, and the beautiful
rooms.
A
Look on the Contemporary World
Piazza della Repubblica, a look on
today’s world, is only five minutes walking. Yet the streets of the
Santa Maria Novella quarter shift our attention from Renaissance to
modern days. Despite many historical buildings with architectural
inventions, this part of town is not for those who want to imagine
people riding buggies. Here people use motorcycles, rush to reach the Todo Modo bookshop and cafeteria in Via de Fossi for a cultural event, take a friend for a taste of the real Florentine steak in the small trattorias.
