“Diana’s place was great, the layout was interesting and it was walking distance to everything. Even though it’s on the other side of the river we were able to walk to most things in under 20 min. Someone came to meet us at the apartment to give us the keys which was great as it meant that we didn’t have to make an extra stop once we got off the train. She left a binder full of interesting things to see and do in Florence, along with any other information you would’ve needed about the apartment. Diana was also super quick to respond to any questions that we had during our stay and beforehand. Check out was a breeze as we just had to leave our keys on the table and notify them once we were gone. Some things to consider if you’re staying there though, there are stairs to get up to the apartment, so something to consider if you have big luggage or mobility issues. If you have more than 2 people staying the ceilings on the second floor are quite low, so keep that in mind. The wifi was also quite slow, we weren’t both able to check email or social media at the same time, which isn’t that big of a deal unless you’re trying to stream things. Overall an amazing stay, we would definitely come back!”
“Diana's flat is wonderful, perfect location (in the city but not very touristic), nice style of the flat, comfortable and clean. Unfortunately when we came there were some plates and glasses dirty (I don't think it's Diana's fault or the fault of her team, but somebody just put their dirty plates into the cupboard). Also it is quite loud in the flat, you hear the streets and the neighbours talking but we could sleep well due to the comfortable bed. Diana was an amazing host and allowed us to stay even longer than the check out time. We would stay again at Diana's place.
“Super! Das Viertel ist sehr lebendig und voll schöner Ecken. Das rummelige Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Im Bad könnte es ein paar Haken für Handtücher geben.
“Awesome spot in a great location. Lots of good local spots within one and two blocks and much less overrun by tourists yet still a very close walk to the bridges into the main center. We recommend L'OV Osteria Vegetariana down the block for great vegetarian food and fantastic ambiance or outdoor seating. Could have stayed here much longer if we had the time.
“Diana was a fantastic communicator, and she provided an amazing amount of local tips and ideas. Her place was sparkling clean, and she provided us with all needed info to utilize utilities in the space. Working with Diana from start to finish was a breeze, and I highly recommend this space!
“I stayed at Rosmarino for 5 weeks and it was wonderful. Check in was super easy and the host was very understanding of my travel delays! The apartment is beautiful and clean, spacious and bright and I very much appreciated the coffee machine and the airconditoning! I was also given great tips about the local area, where to eat and places to see. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to step away from the crowds and enjoy the artisinal quarter of Florence!

Santo SpiritoThe beating art of the Florentine ‘rive gauche’ has a very relaxed atmosphere with a creative ‘bohémien’ environment

The headquarter of Florentine craftsmen is a maze of workshops where masters display their art, their good taste and creativity for unique works of art. The streets show schools of art, historical buildings, churches, typical restaurants and shops, markets and things where the colors and rhythms of the old Florence can still be experienced. It is easy o think of yourself as a hippy from the seventies, like in the scenes of the recently shot movie, Universale.
The Square
When in Florence we say "vado in piazza" (I’m going to ‘the square’) we always mean Piazza Santo Spirito. Warm and welcoming, it is the place where locals and foreigners merge with joy, relaxing, siting at the small tables with a nice glass of wine around the fountain, surrounded by the trees, overlooking the stairs leading to the beautiful church.
