“The location was absolutely PERFECT!!! We were in the center of everything, but with that comes the noice. If you don’t mind it being loud at night, then this place is for you! The host was very responsive and informative. They gave us a map of all the best places to see and eat at. Very clean and large! Had a wonderful time staying here!

“Great location, convenient, walkable, lots of things to do around.
“This place is a fantastic location! It is located on one of the best streets right next to a cafe, nice shops nearby and tons of great food right at your fingertips!
“We had a couple of nights at Diana's apartment - it's brilliantly located right in the lively heart of the old city. Being so central makes it super easy to explore everywhere (both sides of the river) on foot.
“Wonderful Airbnb unit with a great rustic vibe. Fantastic location near all major attractions and adjacent to the best food in Florence. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone, just watch your head if you’re tall as the ceilings are a bit short.

Santa CroceThe charm of past centuries, the taste of the present days. Take a sit in the middle of Piazza Santa Croce and choose which side you like better

The main square, Piazza Santa Croce, is embellished by typical food stores and handcrafts shops, great restaurants, bars and pubs but especially by the great and splendid Santa Croce Basilica. It is an excellent example of a quintessential ‘Renaissance square’, where perfect and impressive architectural geometry has been designed around the life of the community and its citizens. The best Italian artists have worked and left their works in this church. Among them, Brunelleschi, Cimabue, Donatello and Giotto. Here you will also and the tombs of Galileo, Michelangelo and Machiavelli.
An Appointment with History
It is very common to meet a friend at the base of Dante’s monument. The statue lies next to the staircase leading to the church. Visiting the church and the many important artists and scientists buried there and take a look at the cloister, the Pazzi Chapel and the annexed museum is absolutely a must.
Sandwiches of Art!
In Via de' Neri are a few delis. You can easily spot them by the long lines around them. Schiacciata, the typical Italian bread, is stuffed with salami, cheese and season vegetables. A nice glass of wine and the party of good taste can start, right in the middle of the street.
