“We loved the space and the location. The apartment was absolutely huge and there was so much room for us to have privacy and space. I would highly recommend it.
“The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. It was very close to the Duomo and the Central Market, which made it very convenient for walking around and visiting Florence. The owner was also kind, providing explanations and a lot of help.
“We spent Christmas and New Year’s there with our family. The apartment is excellent and very suitable for three couples. The location is wonderful for everything we wanted to do. The only small drawback is a bit of noise coming from the street in the bedroom with the front-facing windows. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.
“The apartment in the old palace is huge, even the bathrooms. As it is an old building, the second floor is really high. The plus side is that the rumours from the street are muffled, but if you have a heavy suitcase, get ready for a lot of stairs. Kitchen is equipped really well. A supermarket where you can get groceries is just across the street, so are a couple of nice bars and restaurants. You will be practically in the heart of Florence, a few minutes away from the Duomo. Great location.
“Excellent ! Tres bel appartement, spacieux (nous etions 6 et chacun avait son espace et son intimite), tres propre avec mobilier de qualite. Proche de tout ( a deux pas du duomo) dans une rue animee mais paisible. Hote tres reactif, accueillant, l'arrivee s'est tres bien passée (Yelena qui nous a acceuilli etait adorable), instructions tres claires. Nous etions ravis !

DuomoA Must for Those Coming to Florence
Piazza del Duomo has always been the heart of the religious power of the city as well as the scene for the most important events in town, some of which are still taking place, like the charming blowing of the chariot on Easter Sunday. On Saint John’s day, the patron saint of the city, a big canvas known as the sky used to lie at 12 meters of height between the Dome and the Baptistery, creating a pathway for the procession that crossed the adorned streets of the city.
Sacred Monuments
Piazza del Duomo is a real window on the past and an open sky museum. Some of these buildings and monuments may well be some of the oldest, if not the oldest ones you ever set foot: the cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, The Baptistery, the old church of Santa Reparata and the Museum of the Cathedral may be visited with the same ticket sold for only 15 Euros.
